  I just read the last review and I must say I disagree. This is an event my young family enjoys attending every year. We had a completely different experience.
  My family also attended the event October 29th and we were greeted with smiling faces and handshakes before we walked through the door. The only time the question came up about how we learned about the event was when we signed in on a name card. There were many games to play for all ages, including toddler games in an enclosed room specifically for young children. Most of the games were managed by young teenagers, whom all seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. A large assortment of candy was available and children were allowed to choose which candy they wanted at each game station. I also witnessed children enjoying the bounce houses. They were very carefully managed, ensuring that young children could safely bounce with other small children and older kids could bounce with bigger kids. The church also had rooms for painting pumpkins and building Minecraft-type structures. There was plenty of fun to be had by all. Just a reminder, this is a free event funded by church members.

  We went 10/29 for their Halloween event with our toddler. We were invited in a Fb group after searching for toddler friendly Halloween activities that are church oriented and hopefully ok for our allergy prone baby. Needless to say, we were asked a dozen times where we heard about the event and had several eyeroll from volunteers. We didn't feel welcome. The toddler events weren't extremely kid friendly for us, it was chaotic. We felt excluded from a lot of activities and it all felt geared toward older kids. It was difficult to get any candy at all and disappointing. My son can't have any chocolate so, we turned down the few pieces we were offered. The bounce houses were filled with teens and older kids. We were looking for a church but we will keep looking. Kinda sad how hard they're trying to get church members but not welcoming at all.
