  First Lutheran Church is a Christ-centered community that truly lives Jesus greatest commandment to love God and love your neighbor as yourself. First Lutheran is a church where you can come as you are, be loved and experience God's grace.

  We have been members of First Lutheran for about 20 years. This is such a lovely group of people that are faithful and generous. Music has always been an important ministry at First and continues to be a wonderful part of the worship. First has hosted the All Lutheran presentation of Handel's Messiah for over 90 years. It is the 2nd longest presentation of the Messiah in the U.S.
  Pastor Rob Martin is very intelligent and an excellent theologian. He is well respected in the community. He is open and welcomes discussion and exploration of faith.

  IF its the same place, they care nothing of the true word of GOD and current teachings. Blasphemy teachings and also kicks out members for honest simple questions or corrections. This is NOT gods house...they do it for profit only.

  I have been working as a voulinteer, assembling meals for the home bound through "Trinity Ministries".
  
  Recenlty, the Masionic Lodge made avalable a progam illuminating the birth of our United States flag. (I am an ametuer historian. There were several significant errors.)
  
  As I was working, on the line, "Slinging Slop", the reverand had a real hissy fit because his pet project "stars and stripes" desert sized plates were not used.
  
  Those "toy sized" plates were less than 1/3rd of the size required to serve the meal.
  
  The reverand's comments were some what less than Chritstian. My neighbor dogs are more versed in theologhy. However, only one, out of five, bites!
  
  I am happy not to be a Lutheran.
  
  I am depressed bceause this "charity" is only another ...
